Refund Policy

At Stoltz Memorials, every piece we create is custom-made to honor your loved one. Because of the personalized nature of our products, we order the granite needed to create your memorial as soon as you place an order with us.

We understand that circumstances may change, and we want to ensure transparency regarding refunds. Please review the details of our refund policy below:

Refunds Up To 24 Hours After Payment: If you request a refund within 24 hours of placing your order, we will issue a refund minus a restocking fee, which comes to the greater of $150 or 5% of the total order value.

Refunds After 24 Hours of Payment: Because our company is unable to return custom grantie pieces to our suppliers once ordered, refunds at this point are at the discretion of Stoltz Memorials, depending on if the granite is a normal stock item or a custom item. If we are able to issue a refund, a restocking fee will be charged at the same price as listed above. In addition, any design charges, if applicable, may be deducted from the refund. Please note: once you have approved a final proof of your memorial, we are unable to issue any refunds on your order.

Change Orders: Order changes, including changing granite color, shape, size, etc., will depend on the nature of the memorial ordered, and will be at the discretion of Stoltz Memorials. For all custom granite orders, we are unable to make any changes, as our company has already purchased the granite in full from the supplier. For commonly stocked items, order changes can not take place once we have contacted your cemetery, provided them will the details of your memorial, and remitted all cemetery fees. Prior to us verifying everything with your cemetery, for common-stock items, order changes can be made at the discretion of Stoltz Memorials. A $300 order change fee will be charged, and any money paid to Stoltz Memorials at that point will be credited to the new order. In the event the total amount of the new order is less than the total of the original order, if the customer is owed a refund on the difference, the $300 order change as well as the restocking fee calculation above will be applied and deducted from the refunded amount from the order change.

Non-Refundable Items: Any cemetery related fees that were collected and remitted to your cemetery by Stoltz Memorials.

Errors on Our Part: If there is a mistake on our company's part, Stoltz Memorials will correct the issue at no additional cost to you.

Our company works with many families all throughout Ohio and has only processed 3 refunds over the last 6 years, leaving our refund rate at less than 0.01%.
