The city of Worthington, Ohio, is home to a community center known as the Worthington Community Center. A pottery studio, an indoor track, a fitness floor, an art room, as well as multiple gymnasiums, public meeting places, and swimming pools, are all included in the center. It is responsible for the organization of a variety of programs, such as swimming lessons, water aerobics classes, and birthday celebrations. In addition, the Worthington Community Center has facilities for hosting camps and other special events.

In addition to offering programs for physical exercise, the center also has rental spaces available. It provides the opportunity to participate in a variety of sporting programs, including badminton, basketball, golf, volleyball, tennis, and softball, among others. The Parks and recreation department’s administrative offices are located in the heart of the complex. The Worthington Community Center is a building that spans over 72,000 square feet in total area.

The lap lanes are open for use for a total of 59 minutes of deep water fitness exercises, water walking, leisure and competitive strokes, and other types of water fitness activities. The usage of the fitness pool lanes for deep water training in addition to competitive strokes is strongly recommended and should at least be considered. You are more than welcome to bring any necessary equipment along with you. All participants are required to pre-register in order to secure a spot in the event because there are only eight spots available.

Members have access to the indoor pool, exercise equipment, and the track that is used for walking and running. Anyone over the age of 12 is permitted to utilize the workout floor. Participants between the ages of 12 and 15 are required to either have a parent accompany them at all times while they are on the workout floor or participate in our complimentary Junior Fitness session. You can make a reservation for this class at the fitness counter.

Members who live in the area get the opportunity to register for programs first, and they also pay the lowest possible price for group fitness class cards, including those for Pilates, Yoga, and Spinning. In addition, annual members receive two complimentary electronic visitor permits per home in addition to one complimentary guest pass per member on the day designated as “Member Appreciation Day” (the 1st of each month.) At this time, visitor permits are only valid for use on the Fitness Floor; they cannot be used for access to the aquatics area.
