Griswold Center
People who are at least 55 years old and their spouses, regardless of age, are eligible to participate in the quality programs and services offered by the Griswold Center, which is a facility that serves multiple purposes. After completing membership registration, adults over the age of 18 are welcome to participate in any programs.
The Griswold Center provides a diverse selection of programs, including those in the arts, theater, sports, physical fitness, and education, in addition to several exciting field trips! This stunning building can be found in the middle of Worthington, OH, and it features a workout area, a large multi-purpose room, an art room, and several meeting rooms that are intimate and comfortable.
Everyone who is a member of Silver Sneakers, Renew Active, the Griswold Center Fitness Room Punch Card Holders, or the Community Center Senior Annual Membership can now use the fitness room at the Griswold Center. There is no longer a requirement for you to make a reservation. The facility will continue to be cleaned and sanitized while staff members are there to respond to any questions that may arise.
You can register for Griswold Center programs and trips with priority for three days if you purchase a Griswold Program Pass. Additionally, it enables participants to take part in any drop-in, continuing, and free programs. Except SilverSneakers memberships, which are valid for as long as the member remains eligible, The Pass is only good for one year after the date of purchase. You have the option of purchasing a Griswold Program Pass either online or in person at either the Griswold Center or the Community Center.
Participants in a social league can choose to play either nine or 18 holes, and they get to choose from a variety of courses in the Central Ohio area. There will be a weekly rotation of foursomes; requests for specific partners will be taken into consideration but cannot be guaranteed.
Do you have a talent or a program that you would like to give for free at the Griswold Center? If so, we could use your help! Because so many Griswold events are run by volunteers, the Griswold Community Center can provide its members with a rich and varied program calendar for a fee that is little, if any at all. The Griswold Center invites anyone interested in volunteering there to fill out and return their Volunteer Application (PDF), which may be found at 777 High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085.
